Clinical supervisor

“Supervision is not a box to tick. It is the heartbeat of good practice — the space where we are challenged, held, and reminded of our humanity. It is where we grow not just as therapists, but as people.”

What Supervision Offers...

Professional Development

Whether you are at the beginning of your journey or deepening an established practice, supervision supports your continuous growth as a clinician and as a human being.

A Space to Reflect, Grow & Thrive
Good supervision is a relationship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. Together, we will explore your client work in a safe space — examining what is happening in the room, what might be happening inside you, and how theory, ethics, and lived experience all come together in the moment of practice.

Reflective Practice

A dedicated space to slow down, look inward, and understand the relational dynamics at play in your work — including what your clients may be evoking in you.

Ethical Guidance
Support in navigating complex ethical dilemmas with care and clarity, aligned with your professional body's code of ethics and the wellbeing of your clients.

Theory in Practice
Bridging the gap between academic learning and real clinical work — helping you integrate models and frameworks into your unique therapeutic style.

Clinical Supervision

Done with Depth & Care

Whether you are newly qualified, still in training, or an experienced practitioner
seeking a thoughtful space to reflect — supervision here is a genuine conversation

about the work that matters most.

There is something profound about the work you have chosen. You sit with people in
their most vulnerable moments, holding space for pain, confusion, and — in time —
growth. It is a privilege, but it is also deeply demanding. That is why the quality of
your supervision matters so much.

With 17 years of experience as a practicing Psychotherapist, my work has been rooted
in trauma, and has encompassed a wide range of specialist areas — including
working extensively with the LGBTQ+ community, Borderline Personality Disorder
(BPD), gender and race, and a sustained commitment to equality, diversity, and
inclusion. All of these areas inform the depth, sensitivity, and breadth of the
supervision I offer. Over the years, I founded and led ExploringU Counselling,
providing clinical placements and supervision to students for over 12 years. I also
established the Just Talk Campaign / Today charity, where I continued to offer
supervision to both trainee and qualified therapists across the full spectrum of
practice.
I have had the privilege of supervising practitioners from diploma level all the way
through to degree and doctoral level — each journey different, each one reminding
me of why this work matters so much.

Supervision Across All Levels...

Extensive experience supervising practitioners from diploma and undergraduate level

through to degree and doctoral (PhD) level therapists.

Trauma Specialist

A deep and nuanced career in trauma-informed practice, working with a wide range of

client presentations and therapeutic modalities.

LGBTQ+ Affirming Practice

Extensive experience working therapeutically with the LGBTQ+ community,

providing a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space that honours each

individual’s identity, experience, and journey.

BPD & Complex Presentations

Significant clinical experience working with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and

other complex presentations, supporting supervisees in developing confidence, compassion,

and robust clinical frameworks when working with these clients.

Gender & Race

A thoughtful and informed approach to gender and race
within the therapeutic relationship, supporting supervisees
in exploring how these dimensions shape both their clients’
experiences and their own practice.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

A deep commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion runs
through every aspect of this supervisory practice.
Supervision here is a space where difference is not just
acknowledged but genuinely valued — and where
practitioners are supported to bring that same consciousness
into their own work.

Supervision Fees

Accessible Support at Every Stage of Your Journey I deeply believe that quality supervision should be accessible — particularly to those who are still training, navigating the financial pressures of placement, and working hard to build a career they believe in. That is why I am pleased to offer a discounted rate for trainees, without any compromise on the depth or quality of the supervisory relationship.

Please get in touch to discuss fees, availability, and what may be the right fit for where you are in your practice.

All supervisory relationships are bound by professional confidentiality.

Signed agreements are provided at the outset of all supervision contracts.
